     § 8301.  Short title and application of chapter.
        (a)  Short title of chapter.--This chapter shall be known and
     may be cited as the Uniform Partnership Act.
        (b)  Application of chapter.--This chapter shall apply to
     every partnership heretofore and hereafter organized. See
     section 8311 (relating to partnership defined).
