§ 711.12. Forfeiture for wrongfully recording plats.
A county recorder who records a plat contrary to
sections 711.01 to
711.38, inclusive, of the Revised Code, shall forfeit and pay not less than one hundred nor more than five hundred dollars to be recovered with costs in a civil action by the prosecuting attorney in the name and for the use of the county.
