§ 5101.02. General authority of director.
 

The director of job and family services is the executive head of the department of job and family services. All duties conferred on the various work units of the department by law or by order of the director shall be performed under such rules as the director prescribes, and shall be under the director's control.

The effective date is set by section 10 of HB 470. 

The provisions of § 28 of HB 470 (148 v  - ) read in part as follows: 

SECTION 28. * * * Section 5101.02 of the Revised Code is presented in this act as a composite of the section as amended by both Am. Sub. H.B. 215 and Sub. H.B. 408 of the 122nd General Assembly, with the new language of neither of the acts shown in capital letters. This is in recognition of the principle stated in division (B) of section 1.52 of the Revised Code that such amendments are to be harmonized where not substantively irreconcilable and constitutes a legislative finding that such is the resulting version in effect prior to the effective date of this act.
