§ 53-23. Disposition of books, records, etc.

§ 53‑23.  Disposition of books, records, etc.

All books, papers, and records of a bank which has been finally liquidated shall be deposited by the receiver in the office of the clerk of the superior court for the county in which the office of such bank is located, or in such other place as in his judgment will provide for the proper safekeeping and protection of such books, papers, and records. The books, papers, and records herein referred to shall be held subject to the orders of the Commissioner of Banks and the clerk of the superior court for the county in which such bank was located.
