§ 47‑81.2. Before army, etc., officers.
In all cases where instruments and writings have been proved or acknowledged before any officer of the army of the United States or United States marine corps having the rank of captain or higher, before any officer of the United States navy or coast guard having the rank of lieutenant, senior grade, or higher, or any officer of the United States merchant marine having the rank of lieutenant, senior grade, or higher, such proofs or acknowledgments, where valid in other respects, are hereby ratified, confirmed and declared valid.
