§ 106‑517.  Application for license to county commissioners.

Every such person mentioned in G.S. 106‑516 shall apply in advance for a license to the board of county commissioners of the county in which he proposes to peddle, sell, or operate, and the board of county commissioners may in their discretion issue license upon the payment of the tax to the sheriff, which shall expire at the end of 12 months from its date.
