2006 New York Code - Conferences With Local Officers.



 
    §  210.  Conferences with local officers.  The board may request local
  officers to meet for the purpose of considering matters relating to  the
  assessment  and  taxation  of  real  property,  securing  uniformity  of
  assessments  throughout  the  state  and  discussing   and   formulating
  desirable  changes  in  the laws relating thereto.   It may invite local
  officers to attend state-wide, regional or county  meetings  in  various
  parts  of  the state.  The Board may also invite to attend such meetings
  persons elected or appointed pursuant to law to a county, city, town  or
  village  office  for  which  the  term of office has not commenced.  The
  expenses of such persons shall be audited allowed and paid in  the  same
  manner  as  are  other claims against the local government of which they
  are or will be officers.
