2006 New York Code - General Safety Requirements.



 
    §  26-228  General  safety  requirements.  Persons engaged in building
  operations shall provide reasonable  and  adequate  protection  for  the
  safety  of  all  persons  and  property  affected  thereby; and all such
  operations shall be conducted in accordance  with  and  subject  to  the
  safety  requirements  of  this  article  and  the building code, and the
  safety requirements of article ten of the labor law.
