2006 New York Code - Subordinates; Discipline Of.



 
    §  26-113  Subordinates;  discipline  of.  The commissioner shall have
  power to punish any employee,  for  neglect  of  duty,  or  omission  to
  properly  perform his or her duty, or for violation of rules, or neglect
  or disobedience of orders, or incapacity or absence  without  leave,  by
  forfeiting  or  withholding  compensation  for  a  specified time, or by
  suspension from duty with or without pay for a period of  not  exceeding
  thirty days.
