2006 New York Code - Monthly Payments.

 
    §            13-263            Monthly           payments.           A
  pension-providing-for-increased-take-home-pay, an annuity,  a  dependent
  benefit,  or a retirement allowance granted under the provisions of this
  subchapter shall be paid in equal  monthly  instalments  or  in  ratably
  smaller amounts when the benefit begins after the first day of the month
  or ends before the last day of the month.
