2006 New York Code - Termination Of Membership; Election To City, County Or State Office.



 
    §  13-142 Termination of membership; election to city, county or state
  office. Should a member previously in city-service as a city official or
  employee be elected a city, county or state official, such member may on
  application therefor and  approval  by  the  mayor,  withdraw  from  the
  retirement  system,  and  upon  such withdrawal, he or she shall be paid
  such part of the amount of the accumulated deductions  standing  to  the
  credit  of  his or her individual account in the annuity savings fund as
  he or she shall be entitled to receive.
