2006 New York Code - Purchase Of Credit For Past Service As A Member Or Employee Of The Legislature.



 
    §  13-112  Purchase of credit for past service as a member or employee
  of the legislature.  Notwithstanding  any  contrary  provision  of  this
  chapter,  in  the  same  manner  as  hereinbefore provided under section
  13-108 of this  chapter  for  the  purchase  of  city-service  preceding
  membership, on or before January first, nineteen hundred seventy-one, or
  within  one  year  after  first  beginning  or re-entering membership, a
  member of  this  retirement  system  may  purchase  credit  for  service
  preceding  membership  in  this  system  as  a member or employee of the
  legislature of the state of New York if such member of this system shall
  have had at least twenty years of city-service in this retirement system
  and at least ten years of  service  as  a  member  or  employee  of  the
  legislature.
