  § 81.17 Nomination of guardian.
    In   the   petition,   or  in  a  written  instrument  duly  executed,
  acknowledged, and filed in the proceeding before the  appointment  of  a
  guardian,  the  person  alleged  to  be  incapacitated  may  nominate  a
  guardian.
