53-8-93. Certificates and certified copies to be received in evidence.

All certificates issued by the corporation commission [public regulation commission] in accordance with the provisions of the Nonprofit Corporation Act [Chapter 53, Article 8 NMSA 1978], and all copies of documents filed in the commission's office in accordance with the provisions of the Nonprofit Corporation Act, when certified by the commission, shall be taken and received in all courts, public offices and official bodies as prima facie evidence of the facts therein stated. A certificate by the corporation commission [public regulation commission] under the great seal of New Mexico, as to the existence or nonexistence of the facts relating to the corporations which would not appear from a certified copy of any of the foregoing documents or certificates, shall be taken and received in all courts, public offices and official bodies as prima facie evidence of the existence or nonexistence of the facts therein stated.
