11-3A-25. Procedure for exercising powers.

The exercise by an authority or other local public body of the powers granted in the Regional Housing Law [Chapter 11, Article 3A NMSA 1978] may be authorized by resolution of the governing body of the public body adopted by a majority of the members of its governing body present at a meeting of the governing body. The resolution may be adopted at the meeting at which the resolution is introduced. The resolution shall take effect immediately and need not be laid over or published or posted.
