52:18A-53 - Appointment and terms of members

52:18A-53.  Appointment and terms of members     The Authority shall consist of three members, each of whom shall be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State.  Each member of the Authority shall be appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the  Senate, for a term of five years, and shall serve until his successor is appointed and has qualified;  except that the initial appointments shall be for  terms of two, three and five years, and the Governor shall designate which of  such members shall have such terms of two, three and five years. Each member  of the Authority, before entering upon his duties, shall take and subscribe to  an oath or affirmation to support the Constitutions of the State and of the  United States, and to perform the duties of his office faithfully, impartially  and justly, to the best of his ability, and shall file a record of such oath or  affirmation in the office of the Secretary of State.
