45:9-37.30 - Use of certain titles, designations restricted
45:9-37.30 Use of certain titles, designations restricted.20. No person, business entity or its employees, agents or representatives shall use the titles "physical therapist," "physiotherapist," "registered physical therapist," "licensed physical therapist," "physical therapist assistant," "registered physical therapist assistant," "licensed physical therapist assistant," "physical therapy assistant," or the abbreviations "PT" or "RPT," "LPT," "PTA," "RPTA," "LPTA," or any other title, designation, words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating the practice of physical therapy unless licensed to practice as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant under the provision of this act.
