CHAPTER 557 — INSOLVENT ESTATES
Section 557:16 Surrender of Security.

If the creditor, being dissatisfied with such estimate, shall relinquish his interest in the security and surrender the same to the administrator, the property thus surrendered shall, under the direction of the judge, be sold or disposed of by the administrator, and the proceeds shall be paid to the creditor; and the difference between the sum so paid him and the amount of his claim shall be inserted upon the list of claims, in place of the sum allowed by the commissioner.
