2006 New Hampshire Statutes - Section 137-H:12 No Presumption.


    This chapter shall not be construed to create a presumption that in the absence of a living will, a person wants life-sustaining procedures to be either taken or withdrawn. Nor shall this chapter be construed to supplant any existing rights and responsibilities under the law of this state governing the conduct of physicians in consultation with patients or their families or legal guardians in the absence of a living will.
