21-2640 Foreign limited liability company; name.

21-2640. Foreign limited liability company; name.

No certificate of authority shall be issued to a foreign limited liability company unless the name of such company satisfies the requirements of subsection (1) of section 21-2604. If the name under which a foreign limited liability company is registered in the jurisdiction of its formation does not satisfy the requirements of such subsection, to obtain or maintain a certificate of authority the foreign limited liability company may use a designated name that is available and which satisfies the requirements of such subsection.
