Section 86-540
Council; terms; vacancy; how filled.

The term of office of the members of the council is two years. Vacancies on the council shall be filled in the same manner as the initial appointments. The seat of a council member who accumulates three consecutive absences from the meetings of the council shall be considered vacant. The appointments to the council shall be made no later than thirty days prior to the expiration date of the term of office.
