Section 80-314
Division of Veterans Homes; Department of Health and Human Services; duties; division director; rules and regulations.

The Division of Veterans Homes is created within the Department of Health and Human Services. The Director of Health and Human Services shall appoint a director of the division who is responsible to the Director of Health and Human Services. The department shall be responsible for the management and administration of the homes and the treatment of the members thereof, define the duties of the officers, fix their compensation, and adopt and promulgate rules and regulations. The division director and the Director of Veterans' Affairs are jointly responsible for member grievance procedures, family support programs, volunteer support, policy, and internal standards. The Director of Veterans' Affairs shall have access to all confidential information relating to members' care.
