Section 71-6066
Board; officers; election; per diem; expenses.

The board shall elect from its appointed members a chairperson, a vice-chairperson, and such other officers as it deems necessary. The members of the board who are not officers or employees of the State of Nebraska shall, in addition to necessary travel and lodging expenses, receive a per diem for each day actually engaged in the discharge of their duties. Traveling and lodging expenses shall be reimbursed as provided in sections 81-1174 to 81-1177. The compensation per day shall not exceed thirty dollars and shall be determined by the board. Expenses of members who are in the employ of the state shall be paid from the appropriation to their respective departments.
