Section 32-515
Educational service unit board; terms; written applications; qualifications; nonpartisan ballot.

Candidates for the boards of educational service units shall be elected to represent the geographical boundaries of the educational service unit as provided in section 79-1217. Successors to the members initially appointed to the board shall be elected for terms of four years. County candidates shall file their written applications with the election commissioner or county clerk no later than the deadline prescribed in subsection (2) of section 32-606. Candidates for the position of members at large shall file their written applications with the Secretary of State no later than the deadline prescribed in subsection (2) of section 32-606. Candidates for the board of educational service units shall meet the qualifications found in such section. Board members shall be elected on the nonpartisan ballot.
