2005 Missouri Revised Statutes - § 570.225. — Unauthorized recording prohibited, when.

570.225. No person shall, without the consent of the owner, transfer or cause to be transferred any sounds recorded on a phonograph record, disc, wire, tape, film, videocassette or other article or medium now known or later developed on which sounds are recorded, with the intent to sell or cause to be sold for profit or used to promote the sale of any article on which sounds are so transferred, except that this section shall only apply to sound recordings initially fixed prior to February 15, 1972.
