2005 Missouri Revised Statutes - § 266.355. — Anhydrous ammonia, rules and standards for equipment and handling --director\'s duties.

266.355. Unless provided for by federal law, rule or regulation, the director of the department of agriculture shall promulgate, pursuant to chapter 536, RSMo, and enforce regulations setting forth minimum general standards covering the design, construction, location, installation, and operation of equipment for storing, handling, transporting by tank truck, tank trailer, tank car and utilizing anhydrous ammonia. The provisions of this section shall not apply to equipment which is in use for storing anhydrous ammonia as of September 28, 1983, and which is found by the department to be in substantial compliance with generally accepted standards of safety regarding life and property.
