Section 549.33 NO WAIVER; NO PENALTIES.
549.33 NO WAIVER; NO PENALTIES.
Subdivision 1. No waiver. The provisions of sections
549.30 to
549.34 may not be waived.
Subd. 2. No penalty. No payee who proposes to make a transfer of structured settlement
payment rights shall incur a penalty, forfeit an application fee or other payment, or otherwise
incur any liability to the proposed transferee based on the failure of the transfer to satisfy the
conditions of section
549.31.
