Maryland State Personnel and Pensions Section 31-2A-02

      Subject to § 31-2A-03 of this subtitle, the governmental units that are eligible to participate in the Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System are:

            (1)      counties; and

            (2)      municipal corporations.
