Maryland Public Safety Section 13-501

Article - Public Safety

§ 13-501.

      (a)      (1)      The Governor may organize and maintain in the State a Maryland Defense Force.

            (2)      The Governor may disband or reduce the size of the Maryland Defense Force at any time.

      (b)      The Maryland Defense Force is in addition to and separate from the National Guard.
