Maryland Health Occupations Section 20-312

      (a)      Unless the Board agrees to accept the surrender of a certificate, a certified program administrator may not surrender the certificate nor may the certificate lapse by operation of law while the certified program administrator is under investigation or while charges are pending against the certified program administrator.

      (b)      The Board may set conditions on its agreement with the certified program administrator under investigation or against whom charges are pending to accept surrender of the certified program administrator's certificate.
