Maryland Health Occupations Section 14-5B-07

      (a)      (1)      A radiation oncology/therapy technologist, medical radiation technologist, or nuclear medicine technologist may only practice under the supervision of a licensed physician.

            (2)      The failure of a licensed physician to properly supervise a radiation oncology/therapy technologist, medical radiation technologist, or nuclear medicine technologist is unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine under § 14-404(a)(3) of this title.

      (b)      The practice of a radiation oncology/therapy technologist, medical radiation technologist, or nuclear medicine technologist is limited to those procedures, operations, preparations, and practices listed in regulation.
