§ 24-411.

      (a)      A license expires on the first anniversary of the effective date of the license, unless the license is renewed for a 1-year term as provided in this section.

      (b)      Before the license expires, the licensee periodically may renew it for an additional 1-year term, if the licensee:

            (1)      Otherwise is entitled to be licensed;

            (2)      Pays to the Department a renewal fee of $50; and

            (3)      Submits to the Department a renewal application on the form that the Department requires.

      (c)      The Department shall waive the renewal fee for any manufacturer of decorative pillows that:

            (1)      Are made by needlepoint or by hand; and

            (2)      Are sold for use only by:

                  (i)      Nursing homes;

                  (ii)      Churches; or

                  (iii)      Other nonprofit organizations.

      (d)      The Department shall renew the license of each licensee who meets the requirements of this section.

      (e)      The Department shall pay all funds collected under this subtitle into the General Fund of this State.
