Maryland Health - General Section 24-403

      (a)      Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, this subtitle does not apply to a person who operates a business for selling goods at auction.

      (b)      A person who operates a business for selling goods at auction shall, in each room where the person is selling or offering for sale any bedding or upholstered furniture:

            (1)      Post a notice stating that unless otherwise tagged, any bedding or upholstered furniture offered for sale has not been disinfected; and

            (2)      Announce to the buyers, that unless otherwise tagged, any bedding or upholstered furniture offered for sale has not been disinfected.
