§ 3-507.

      (a)      A copy of a voter registration list shall be provided to a Maryland registered voter upon receipt of:

            (1)      a written application; and

            (2)      a statement, signed under oath, that the list is not intended to be used for purposes of:

                  (i)      commercial solicitation; or

                  (ii)      any other purpose not related to the electoral process.

      (b)      The State Board shall adopt regulations, in consultation with the local boards, specifying:

            (1)      when registration lists shall be provided;

            (2)      any authorization to be required for providing registration lists;

            (3)      the fee for providing registration lists;

            (4)      the information to be included;

            (5)      the format of the information; and

            (6)      the medium or media on which the information shall be supplied.

      (c)      Any individual who knowingly allows a registration list under the individual's control to be used for commercial solicitation or any other purpose not related to the electoral process is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished under the provisions of Title 16 of this article.
