Maryland Washington Suburban Sanitary District Section 18-102

      (a)      A person in the sanitary district or on any watershed from which the WSSC gets its water supply may not leave unburied for a longer period than 24 hours any dead animal or fecal matter.

      (b)      After 24 hours, the WSSC may bury the animal or fecal matter and charge the cost of the burial to the owner or the person on whose property the animal or fecal matter was found.
