§55. Revocation or suspension

1. Authority to suspend or revoke a registration certificate.

A. The commissioner may suspend or revoke, for such period of time as he determines reasonable, a registration certificate issued by the Bureau of Aeronautics whenever he determines, after notice of an opportunity for a hearing as provided, that the holder has made any false statement in an application for a certificate or any report required by the commissioner, or that any provisions of chapters 1 thru 17 or any regulation promulgated thereunder has been violated. 2. Authority to deny registration.

A. The commissioner may deny a registration certificate or other authorization whenever he determines that the requirements thereof would not be satisfied. [1977, c. 678, §32 (NEW).]

B. Whenever an application for a registration certificate or other authorization is denied, the applicant is entitled to have a hearing before the commissioner or his designee, only if he files a written application for a hearing within 15 days after the receipt of a notice of denial.
