2005 Maine Code - §589-C — Violation


      1. Violation. Any violation of this chapter is a violation of Title 5, chapter 10.[RR 1993, c. 1, §102 (cor).]
      2. Intentional violation. Any intentional violation of this subchapter is a Class E crime.[RR 1993, c. 1, §102 (cor).]
      3. Subsequent violations. Any violation of this subchapter constitutes a civil violation for which a forfeiture not to exceed $100 may be adjudged in the case of a first violation and a forfeiture not to exceed $500 may be adjudged in the case of 2nd and subsequent violations.[RR 1993, c. 1, §102 (cor).]
