2005 Maine Code - §2914 — Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education Fund


      1. Fund established. The Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education Fund, referred to in this section as the "fund," is established as a nonlapsing fund. The commissioner may use this fund only to support the activities of officers in the drug and alcohol resistance education program in the Department of Public Safety.[1993, c. 707, Pt. L, §1 (new).]
      2. Revenue sources. The commissioner may accept court mandated and private contributions intended to be used for the purposes of the fund.[1993, c. 707, Pt. L, §1 (new).]
      3. Budget. The commissioner shall submit a budget for each biennium pursuant to Title 5, sections 1663 and 1666.[1993, c. 707, Pt. L, §1 (new).]
