§1013.  Membership; appointment; terms; vacancies; officers; compensation of members

A.  The membership of the commission shall be composed of the following:

(1)  The governor's spouse or designee.

(2)  The state archivist of the Department of State.

(3)  The dean of the School of Interior Design of Louisiana State University.

(4)  The director of the Louisiana State Museum.

(5)  The chairman of the State Board of Architectural Examiners.

(6)  The immediate past governor's spouse or designee.

(7)  The legislative auditor.

(8)  One member selected by the Louisiana Governor's Mansion Foundation.

(9)  The director of the Old State Capitol.

(10)  The president of the Louisiana Governor's Mansion Foundation.

B.  The spouse or designee of the governor shall serve as the chairman of the commission.  For the prompt and efficient transaction of business, the commission may create from its membership an executive committee which shall consist of a chairperson and such additional members as the committee shall determine. Other advisory and cooperative committees may be appointed by the chairman.

C.  Members shall serve without compensation; however, a member may be reimbursed by his respective agency for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the performance of his duties on the commission.

D.  The legislative auditor shall be a nonvoting member.
