§852.  When investments must comply

The investments in securities and real estate of all domestic insurers shall be made to conform to the requirements of this Part by not later than 12:00 noon of October 1, 1953, but the commissioner of insurance may, on application by the insurer, extend the time for such conformance for such period or periods as he may deem proper on the showing made, if he is satisfied that such insurer will suffer materially by the forced sale of any securities or property not conforming; and the commissioner of insurance shall grant a hearing to the insurer upon request.
