§260.  Exceptions

The requirements in R.S. 22:259 shall not be applicable as follows:

(1)  When an industrial life insurance policy is issued by any domestic, foreign, or alien insurer providing other benefits, in addition to life insurance, the foregoing provisions shall apply only to the life insurance portion of the policy.  

(2)  Any of the foregoing provisions or portions thereof not applicable to non-participating or term or paid-up policies shall to that extent not be incorporated therein.
