§2091.9.  Penalties

A.  Any lessor who is found by the commissioner, after notice and hearing, to have violated or attempted to violate any provision of this Part, may be subject to a penalty under this Section, as determined by the commissioner.  Each issuance, procurement, or negotiation of a single collision damage waiver shall be deemed a separate violation.  

B.  A monetary penalty not to exceed five hundred dollars may be imposed for each violation.  No fine or fines shall be imposed against a lessor, pursuant to this Section, which aggregates in excess of ten thousand dollars in any calendar year.
