§85.  Definitions; construction

As used in this chapter, the word "commission" means the State Boxing and Wrestling Commission.  The word "club" means any club, corporation, association, or individual under the authority of the commission.  The words "professional boxer or professional wrestler" mean any person who competes for a money prize or teaches or pursues or assists in the practice of boxing or wrestling as a means of obtaining a livelihood or pecuniary gain.  Wherever the masculine gender is used, it also includes the feminine gender where applicable.
