§2088.  Bond authority; limitation

Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 2 of this Subtitle, the department shall not directly issue any bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness except to any commission, authority, or public corporation of the state, any public trust, any municipality or other political subdivision of the state, or any other entity having the authority to issue debt for or on behalf of the state, or any municipality or other political subdivision of the state.
