§2085.  Credit enhancement devices

The department may, in connection with the sale of any bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness, use municipal bond insurance, bank guarantees, surety bonds, letters of credit, interest rate swap agreements, and other devices to enhance the credit quality of any such obligations, the cost of which may be paid from the proceeds of the bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness or other lawfully available funds.  Such credit enhancement devices may be entered into prior to, at the time of, or subsequent to, the issuance of any such obligations.
