CHAPTER 367 CONSUMER PROTECTION
367.710 Definitions.
Download pdf(2) "Dealer" means any person or business enterprise which sells new mobile homes to consumers. (3) "Manufacturer" means any person or business enterprise engaged in the business of manufacturing, assembling or distributing on behalf of a manufacturer new mobile
homes. (4) "Wholesaler" means any person other than a manufacturer who sells new mobile homes for the purpose of resale. (5) "Mobile home" means a structure, transportable in one (1) or more sections, which is eight (8) body feet or more in width and is thirty-two (32) body feet or more in
length, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a
dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required
utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and electrical systems
contained therein. (6) "Purchase price" means the actual amount paid by the owner, including the value of any traded merchandise involved in the transaction, and any sales or usage tax. (7) "Defect" is a defective part or material installed, or improper workmanship performed, by a manufacturer, wholesaler, or dealer which poses an imminent
danger to the owner's or occupant's health or safety or to the right of occupancy and
which would cost the owner more than four percent (4%) of the purchase price to
