Every person who engages in nonemergency excavation or demolition work shall <br>conform to KRS 367.4905 to 367.4917. Compliance with excavator and operator <br>notification requirements of KRS 367.4905 to 367.4917 shall not be required of <br>authorized persons responding to emergency situations. However, these persons shall take <br>every reasonable precaution to protect the public safety and underground facilities of <br>others. Effective: January 1, 1995 <br>History: Created 1994 Ky.
