If, following the execution of an advance directive under KRS 311.623, a court of the <br>grantor's principal domicile appoints a fiduciary charged with the care and protection of <br>the grantor's person, the fiduciary shall be bound by the terms of the grantor's advance <br>directive. If the advance directive designates a surrogate to make health care decisions for <br>the grantor, the surrogate may continue to act. Effective: July 15, 1998 <br>History: Created 1998 Ky.
