286.1-025 Deputy commissioner -- Appointment -- Service as commissioner. The secretary of the Public Protection Cabinet may appoint a deputy commissioner of <br>financial institutions with the prior written approval of the Governor. The deputy <br>commissioner shall, during the absence or inability of the commissioner or under his or <br>her instructions, or in the event of a vacancy in the office of the commissioner and until <br>the vacancy is filled, be vested with all the powers and perform all the duties of the <br>commissioner.
