247.040 Quicksand substation -- Functions. The Quicksand substation shall conduct experimental work and carry on investigations in <br>timber production, forest growth, forest renewal and the utilization of forest products, the <br>practicability of reforestation and the development of a permanent forest industry. It shall <br>also conduct experimental work, investigations and demonstrations in the various phases <br>of horticulture, animal husbandry and agriculture and such other investigations and <br>demonstrations as bear directly upon the development of agriculture in eastern Kentucky.
